Up to 1,000 people are expected to take part in this year's Yogathon, taking place in Bristol.
The event, organised in connection with Penny Brohn Cancer Care, is suitable for complete beginners as well as advanced yoga students.
There will be three 90-minute sessions, set to gentle music and atmospheric lighting. Participants will have the chance to mingle and relax afterwards, with a range of yoga-related stalls.
Entry costs £15 and participants are encouraged to raise sponsorship for Penny Brohn Cancer Care, the UK's leading charity in complementary cancer care. Tickets can be booked online at www.yogathon.org.uk
This is the second year of the Yogathon - an annual event that is expanding in reach and reputation. It is sponsored by Yogi Tea.
Penny Brohn Cancer Care, formerly known as Bristol Cancer Help Centre, was founded 25 years ago by Penny Brohn, a woman living with cancer. It was the UK's first leading holistic cancer charity.
will take place on October 20.
