Yoga Journal scoops major awards

yoga journalAmerica's best selling yoga magazine, Yoga Journal, has clinched two prestigious awards as Best Health and Fitness Magazine and Best Consumer Publication.

 

This is the fifth consecutive year the title, which has a paid circulation of 350,000, has been recognised by the annual Maggie awards, which are run by the Western Publications Association.

Katilin Quistgaard, Yoga Journal's editor-in-chief, says: "What an honour it is to receive these awards acknowledging the quality of Yoga Journal's editorial content and design."

"With more than 16m Americans now practising yoga, our mission is to be a source of inspiration and education to all our readers."

The title also scooped four Folio Editorial Excellence Awards in 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2005 for Best Health and Fitness Magazine.
