Friday 26 January, 2007

Voewood HouseTravel and retreat company Wellbeing Escapes has launched a series of weekend yoga retreats aimed at time-stretched consumers in search of weekend Rest and Relaxation. Retreats will run monthly, from February this year.

Victoria McClelland, Wellbeing Escapes' yoga expert and former director of London's Triyoga says: "A relaxing yoga break is the perfect antidote to our stressed out lifestyles, but it's hard to know where to book. So we've done all the hard work."

The first of the Yoga Escapes - held at Voewood house (pictured) in Norfolk - includes gentle but informative daily clases led by Howard Napper, and optional massages and reiki.

The all-vegetarian food will be organic and locally produced where possible and the group size is limited to 20. The retreat is priced from £366.
