New Chelmsford centre offers free massage

Wednesday 2 August, 2006

logoYogaviva, the new yoga centre in Chelmsford, Essex, is offering a free hour-long foot massage for all courses purchased in August. Students buying a yoga or pilates course, or a class pass, will be entitled to a relaxing Morrell Technique massage worth £30.

The Chelmsford studio, directed by well-known yoga teacher Katherine Cullis, opened in June after a lightning six month revamp.

The space, a nineteenth century chapel, was converted into a contemporary stuido complete with under-floor heating, changing rooms and showers.

Cullis says: "We wanted to make sure everything was set up properly  for yoga. I have lived in Chelmsford for the last few years and moved around from hall to hall, never really finding anywhere that was conducive to practice."

Cullis is working alongside four other yoga teachers and four therapists. A range of courses is offered, from preganancy and yoga gently, to pilates and ashtanga.

Future plans for the centre include a pilates studio, and seven-day a week opening, up from the current three days.

Anyone interested in taking up the offer should contact Katherine on 01245 266108 or email
