Bedlam Productions is currently casting for a new documentary, The Pilgrim, and we need your help in finding participants - or perhaps you yourself are interested.
The Pilgrim will travel to Tibet for a unique spiritual journey exploring elements of yoga that have been lost to the West, involving a pari krama around Mount Kailash, the holiest site in the Himalayas.
The pilgrimage – the highest in the world – will be physically demanding but also a once in a lifetime opportunity, and we want to take 5 very diverse characters with us to share their experiences.
This journey and film will seek solutions to all manner of life’s problems and challenges, and anyone who fully immerses in the experience can expect to make great progress in self-realisation.
Experience and knowledge of yoga is secondary to an open mind and thirst for self-reflection – there is no 'right' candidate. We ask only that you are brave, adventurous, determined, and reasonably fit.
The trip is scheduled to last for three weeks in July and early August* and will be a completely unique experience for all involved; one that few people ever repeat. Please tell anyone who might be interested in this opportunity – we want to hear from all sorts.
We would like all applicants to send us a picture of themselves, and their response to this simple question: Why do you want to take part in this expedition?
*the dates are yet to be confirmed. There may also be some costs, including arranging your own flights, but the trip will be heavily subsidised and organised by Bedlam Productions. This is to ensure that all participants are invested in benefitting from the experience, and not simply on holiday.
